Nemaha County Sheriff 6.11.19


Pamela Hill, 42, of Olathe was booked into the Nemaha County Jail on June 7 on a Nemaha County warrant for failure to appear. She was released on the same day on a $205 cash bond. Court is set for July 2 at 9:30 a.m.

Heather Sherrill, 43, of Seneca was arrested by Seneca PD on June 7 for the offense of driving while suspended. She was released on June 9 on a $750 own recognizance (OR) bond. Court is set for June 19 at 5 p.m.

Gregory Rumph, 31, of Glasgow, Ky., was arrested by the Nemaha County Sheriff’s Office (NMSO) on June 7 on a Nemaha County warrant for harassment by telecom device and violation of a protection order. Rumph remains in custody.

Jonah Kirsch, 19, of Circleville was arrested by Seneca Police Department (PD) on June 8 for the offense of driving while suspended. Kirsch remains in custody.

Therman Turner, 40, of Hiawatha was arrested by Sabetha Police Department on June 9 on a Sabetha municipal warrant for failure to appear. He was released on June 10 on a $100 cash bond. Court is set for June 20 at 4 p.m.


At 11:45 p.m. Saturday, May 25, Matthew Winkler, 22, of Seneca was backing out of 6420 Main Street in Corning when he struck another vehicle. Winkler was driving a 2003 Ford F150. The other vehicle was a 2008 Chevrolet Impala. Damage was estimated at more than $1,000.

At 11:56 a.m. Wednesday, June 5, Brandi Lybarger, 35, of Axtell was traveling westbound on U.S. Highway 36, 50 feet west of D Road, when she attempted to go around a stopped vehicle. Lybarger’s vehicle was struck by a vehicle driven by David Stephens, 54, of St. Joseph, Mo. Lybarger was driving a 2006 Dodge Durango. Stephens was driving a 2013 Kenworth Semi.

At 5:17 p.m. Thursday, June 6, Rodney Sanner, 58, of Sabetha was northbound from a private drive attempting to go eastbound on U.S. Highway 36. At the same time, Tamara Nocks, 51, of Seneca was westbound on U.S. Highway 36 attempting to turn into the private drive. The two vehicles collided. Sanner was driving a 2011 Nissan Rogue. Nocks was driving a 2013 Chrysler Town and Country.

Incident Responses

Sometime between 10 p.m. Thursday, May 30, and 6 a.m. Saturday, June 1, an unknown individual stole items from a residence at 3073 L4 Road. Approximate loss of $325.
