Elsie Mae Bullock, 78, of Topeka died Tuesday, Dec. 24, 2019, with her children by her side.
She was born Dec. 14, 1941, the daughter of William and Elsie E. Wende Elliott in Hiawatha. Elsie was raised at Sabetha, and graduated from high school there in 1959. She attended Clark’s School of Business. She was an administrative assistant with the State of Kansas for 35 years. She was a faithful and long-time member of Community Church in Topeka.
Elsie was preceded in death by her parents, William Elliott and Elsie E. Wende Elliott; and her brother, Reverend Alvin Elliott.
Survivors include her children, Penny (Jim) Skinner of Topeka, and Todd Bullock of Shoreline, Wash.; brother, Roy (Janice) Elliott of Hiawatha; three step-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, Dec. 31, at Community Church, 1819 SW 21st Street in Topeka. Graveside services and interment were held on Tuesday, Dec. 31. at Mount Hope Cemetery in Hiawatha. The family received friends at Davidson Funeral Home in Topeka on Monday, Dec. 30. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Church.
