Kenneth R. Manley, 58, of Marysville was arrested by the Seneca Police Department (PD) on Dec. 27, 2019, for the offenses of criminal trespass, possession of methamphetamine and paraphernalia. He was released on Dec. 28, 2019, on a $10,000 surety bond with a court date of Jan. 7, at 9:30 a.m.
Joseph M. Roberts, 51, of Beatrice, Neb., was arrested on Dec. 28, 2019, by the Nemaha County Sheriff’s Office (NMSO) for the offense of possession of methamphetamines and possession of paraphernalia. He remains in custody.
Irving M. Franklin, 37, of Corning was arrested by the NMSO on Dec. 28, 2019, for the offenses of driving under the influence and transporting an open container. He was also arrested on a Jackson County warrant for failure to appear. He was released on local charges on Dec. 30, 2019, on a $2,750 own recognizance (OR) bond with a court date of Feb. 11, at 9:30 a.m.
Joshua R. Tackett, 22, of Sabetha was arrested by the Sabetha PD for the offense of driving while suspended. He was released on Dec. 29, 2019, on a $750 (OR) bond with a court date of Jan. 16, at 4 p.m.
Lawrence Irvine, 29, of Rosamond, Calif., was arrested on Dec. 30, 2019, by the Kansas Highway Patrol on charges of driving without a valid driver’s license. He was released on the same day on a $250 cash bond. Court is set for Jan. 21, at 9:30 a.m.
On Thursday, Dec. 26, 2019, Jocelyn J. Payne, 50, of Sabetha was traveling southbound on Y Road, approximately one mile north of U.S. Highway 36, when she struck a deer. She was driving a 2016 Jeep Renegade. More than $1,000 in damage was estimated.
