Collecting the reds
The Sabetha Community Blood Drive held on Feb. 4 collected blood from 79 donors.
The following donors reached milestone gallon donations at Tuesday’s drive: Ronnie Edelman, six gallons; Steven Edelman, seven gallons; Adam Enneking, six gallons; Todd Evans, seven gallons; Robert Ruddick, two gallons; Richard Smith, seven gallons; Gloria Stoller, five gallons; Kara Tramp, two gallons; and Galen Wiltz, five gallons.
There were four first-time donors at the drive. They were Karen Everhart, Seth Harrell, Jenna McClain and Emma P. Schilling.
There also were eight double red donors. They were Steven L. Edelman, Ronnie J. Edelman, Merlin J. Gruber, Timmy W. Kellenberger, O’Detta Koch, Grant Meyer, Richard W. Smith and Dale W. Ulrich.

Volunteers helping at the drive were Diane Hicks, Alice Zahner, Cathy Osterhaus and Sue Brockhoff. Wenger Manufacturing provided the food for the drive.
The next Sabetha Blood Drive will be held Tuesday, April 7.
