Dylan Barrett, 29, of Oneida was released on Jan. 30 on a $500 own recognizance (OR) bond. Court is set for March 3 at 2 p.m.
Matthew Zieg, 38, of Frankfort was booked into the Nemaha County Jail on Feb. 5 on a Nemaha County warrant for theft of property/services. Zieg remains in custody. Bond is set at $2,500 cash/surety.
Donald Larson, 37, of Pawnee City, Neb., was booked into the Nemaha County Jail on Feb. 6 on a Nemaha County warrant for failure to appear. Larson remains in custody.
Jerry Lee Dixon Jr, 49, of Topeka was released on Feb. 6 on a $500 OR bond. Court is set for Feb. 24 at 1:30 p.m.
Mariah Leishing, 22, of Seneca was released on Feb. 6 on a $5,000 OR bond. Court is set for March 5 at 10:30 a.m.
At 12:01 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 1, Andrew Vogel, 27, of Sabetha was traveling northbound on Q Road, 0.25 mile south of 120th Road, when he fell asleep causing his vehicle to leave the roadway on the east side, go into a creek and strike an embankment. Vogel was driving a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado. He was transported to Nemaha Valley Community Hospital with injuries. Damage was listed at more than $1,000.
At 9:12 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 2, James Fischer, 66, of Axtell was traveling westbound on C Road, 300 feet north of 216th Road, when he struck a deer. Fischer was driving a 2012 Ford Focus. Damage was listed at more than $1,000.
At 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 4, Taylor Smith, 27, of Soldier was traveling northbound on Kansas Highway 63, 0.3 mile north of 96th Road, when he struck a deer. Smith was driving a 2010 Ford Fusion. Damage was listed at more than $1,000.
