This photo depicts the Sabetha and Seneca Commercial Clubs in Baileyville on June 20, 1911.
This photo taken in 1918 is of Oneida’s boys going off to fight in World War I posing for this picture alongside the railroad tracks in that town.
This photo was taken on Sunday afternoon, May 26, 1918 – possibly at the park before the library was built – celebrating that the community of Sabetha went over the top with the third Liberty Loans. In the center, there are three flags hanging and the large service flag was presented to the Red Cross by Mr. Hamman and clerks representing the 145 boys to have gone from Sabetha and vicinity.
Before Sabetha’s Post Office moved to its present location on the northeast corner of Virginia and Ninth Streets, it was at the northwest corner of Virginia and Washington Avenue, or a block west of the present location as shown in this photo.
This photo depicts the Morrill Old Settlers Reunion. This photo recently was sent to Bill Eisenbise by a relative in California.
