4-H Club News: Stateliners
Submitted by Maddy Mosteller, Club Reporter
President Thomas Edelman called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 27, at the Bern Community Building. Susie Edelman led the club in the flag salute, 4-H pledge and motto. There was no song.
Leah Renyer called the roll, asking members, “What time do you wake up for school?”
Treasurer Collin Jost was absent, so there was no treasurer report. Maddy Mosteller gave the reporter’s report and said that the December article was sent in and published. There were no committee reports.
Mrs. Edelman gave the community leader’s report. There was no business to be addressed by the club. The announcements were read, and then we rolled right into the program.
For the program, Amanda Krehbiel told us about a book and explained how it is related to leadership project talks. Lane Mosteller did a demonstration on how to set up a battle scene with Legos. He used Avenger-themed people.
For recreation, L. Mosteller taught us how to play ships and sailors.
The meeting was adjourned following recreation. The Krehbiel family provided refreshments.
