Fifteen-inning game ends with Brigade win

A low scoring, but lengthy game ended with a Junction City Brigade win on Monday, June 21, in Sabetha.

The 15-inning game was the first game for both teams last week, and after nine innings the teams were tied 3-3. Both teams fought hard with the defenses shutting down any possible scoring. The Brigade and Bravos went six extra innings before Junction City was able to score and end the game.

Bobby Galindo led the Bravos at the plate going three for five. He also scored two runs.

The Bravos had four pitchers – Daniel Castillo, Alexander Garcia, Emmanuel Cabrera and Jefferson Camilo – step on the mound during the contest. The four pitchers allowed four runs on 10 hits, while striking out 23 batters and walking 16.
