4-H CLUB: Stateliners

Haven Knapp, Reporter

The Stateliners met for a monthly meeting on the Monday, May 24.

The roll call was “the year my mom graduated high school.” Maybe the mothers felt uncomfortable since everyone could figure out how old they were.

Ethan Jost lead the club in singing “You’re a Grand ‘Ole Flag,” while Anna Jost accompanied them on the piano. Maddy Mosteller did a parliamentary procedure on Division of the Question and Collin Jost planned a bowling event for the club. It was noted that we had a good turn out on the workday for our club at the Bern park. We also got all the Bern flower boxes planted!

Leah Renyer gave a project talk on “Project and Impact of 4-H.” Jenny Edelman gave a presentation on “string painting” (art) and A. Jost gave a presentation on “learning to play piano” with helpful tips.

The club enjoyed a rowdy game of Red Rover and the meeting was adjourned with refreshments served by the Mostellers.
