Get out and ‘Celebrate Community’

Time to get out and “Celebrate Community.” The Greater Sabetha Community Foundation encourages Sabetha residents to come out and recognize the people who helped the community survive and thrive through 2020.

The free event will be held from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. Saturday, June 19, at the Sabetha Library Park.

Attendees are encouraged to bring their own chairs or blankets and enjoy the entire evening that is filled with events.

Starting at 5:30 p.m., a free brat and hot dog feed will begin.

At 6 p.m., the Sabetha Chamber of Commerce will begin presentations, including Martin and Karen Beyer, former owners of Draperie Decor; Tony and Alice Nichols, former owners of Hardware Hank; Cindi Baker, former owner of 1005 Salon; and Brick Street Furniture Co. + Wine Lounge, the Chamber of Commerce’s Business of the Year.

Then from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m., the True North Trio will perform.
