Bravos defeats Brigade

After a lengthy game the night before, the Bravos traveled to Junction City to take on the Brigade again. At the end of seven innings, the two teams were tied again, 8-8; however, the Bravos pulled ahead in the ninth inning to take home the 9-8 win.

Sabetha collected 14 hits during the win, while Junction City only tallied 10. The Bravos were led offensively by Takeru Kageyama, who went three for five at the plate and tallied two RBIs. Also tallying RBIs were Isaac Guzman and Samuel Williams with two each, and Wilfredo Aguilar and Alejandro Pina with one each.

Samuel Mendez started on the mound for Sabetha. He threw six innings, allowing four runs on five hits, while striking out 11 batters and walking four. Mendez was relieved by Julian Galindo, who threw the final three innings. He allowed four runs on five hits, while striking out four batters and walking two.
