Blake A. Bowser, 18, of Sabetha was arrested on Saturday, July 24, by Sabetha Police Department for the offense of rape. Bowser remains in custody.
Joshua J. Lynch, 34, of Seneca was arrested by Nemaha County Sheriff’s Office (NMSO) on Friday, July 23, on a Brown County warrant for probation violation. He was released from custody on a $10,000 surety bond with a court date of Aug. 4 at 9 a.m.
At 1:40 p.m. Friday, July 16, Regina Hummer, 51, of Platte City, Mo., was westbound on U.S. Highway 36, 500 feet east of H Road. Meanwhile, Jonothan Purvis, 29, of Seneca was traveling westbound. An object from Purvis’s vehicle fell off the trailer and struck Hummer’s vehicle. Hummer was driving a 2008 Dodge Caravan. Purvis was driving a 2010 Ford F350. Damage was estimated at more than $1,000.
At 5:55 a.m. Wednesday, July 21, Regan Bramhall, 23, of Frankfort was traveling eastbound on Kansas Highway 9, 0.1 mile west of C Road, when he struck a deer. His vehicle then slid off the roadway, striking an embankment and eventually caught on fire. Bramhall was driving a 2006 Toyota Avalon. Damage was estimated at more than $1,000.
At 12:17 p.m. Tuesday, July 20, Tonia Evans, 47, of Wetmore was attempting to park in front of 321 Second Street in Wetmore when she struck a postal box. Evans was driving a 2006 Honda Pilot. Damage was estimated at more than $1,000.
Sometime between 5 p.m. Saturday, July 10, and Monday, July 12, an unknown individual forced entry into 6209 Warehouse Avenue in Corning. Total of loss and damage is $1,298.
Sometime between Saturday, July 3, and Monday, July 19, an unknown person took a solar electric fencer and battery near 1817 56th Road in Goff. Approximate loss is $350.
