4-H Club: Morrill Tip-Top

The Morrill Tip-Top 4-H Club met on Monday, Aug. 23, at the Morrill Community Building. The meeting was called to order at 7 p.m. by President Isaac Hartter.

Elsie Ploeger led the club in the Pledge of Allegiance and the 4-H Pledge.

The club sang “Happy Birthday” to the 4-H members with birthdays in June-August.

For roll call, club members answered with their favorite pop.

Secretary Kiaya Beyer read the minutes of May’s meeting. Reporter Kenzie Ploeger sent her report to The Sabetha Herald.

Treasurer Logan Ploeger gave the Treasurer’s report through Julie. Estie Grimm lead the club in a par law activity about the correct way to say certain parts of a meeting.

The club discussed how successful the food stand was at Morrill Days and the potential for adding more food next year.

During the program, Logan Ploeger gave a talk on parts of a remote control airplane, Lyndsey Menold gave a talk on building Legos and Alton Hartter talked about features of his V-tech camera. After the meeting was adjourned, Dylan McNerney led a game and the Jesse Ploeger family shared peanut butter bars.

The next regular monthly meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Sept. 27, in the Morrill Community Building. Record books and pin applications will be turned in at that time.
