Booster Club announces tournament results
Seventy-eight golfers competed in the 37th annual Sabetha Booster Club Golf Tournament on Sunday, Sept. 19, at the Sabetha Golf and Country Club.
Championship Flight results were as follows: first place, 58, team of Jason Mitchell, Jeff Ulrich and Mike Lierz; second place, 60, team of Scott Burger, John Garber and Matt Garber; third place, 60, team of Bud Keim, Hunter Keim and Mark Fenton; and fourth place, 62, team of Doug Whittaker, Jim Whittaker and Matt Whittaker.
Results of A-Flight were as follows: first place, 64, team of Kyle Stallbaumer, Dale Stallbaumer and Brett Stallbaumer; second place, 64, team of John Pierson, Rick Koch and Doug Allen; third place, 65, team of Jay Russell, Rick Hummel and Roger Brey; and fourth place, 66, team of Darin Georg, Aaron Georg and Dane Brinker.
Results of B-Flight were as follows: first place, 69, team of Butch Moser, Noah Garber and Gary Priest; second place, 70, team of JD Jackman, Chris Mooney and BJ Johnson; third place, 71, team of Shane Schuette, Bud Schuette and Darryl Schuette; and fourth place, 71, team of Dave Remmers, Steve Remmers and Doug Barrington.
Hole prizes were as follows: hole one, longest putt, Doug Barrington; hole two, closest to pin, Brett Lukert; hole three, longest drive in fairway from white tees only, Gabe Garber; hole four, closest to the pin in two shots, Jeff Ulrich; hole five, longest putt, Alex Edelman; hole six, closest to pin in two shots, Trevin Edelman; hole seven, closest to pin, Mark Fenton; hole eight, closest drive to flag in fairway, Doug Whittaker; and hole nine, longest putt, Austin Moss. The youngest participant at the tournament was Hunter Keim, and the oldest participant was John Garber.
