The Sabetha Herald’s Athlete of the Week

Sophomore Alexia Hayden was a force at the plate during the Lady Jays opening week on the field. As the Lady Jays lead-off batter, she averaged over 500 at the plate, scored seven runs and tallied five RBIs. She also pitched her first varsity game against Pleasant Ridge on Monday, March 28, where she allowed one run on four hits and struck out three batters.
