City approves wage resolutions

The Sabetha City Commission met at 6 p.m. Monday, April 11, at Sabetha City Hall. Present for the meeting were Mayor Cody Bletscher, commissioners Norm Schmitt, Nick Aberle and Julie Burenheide, City Administrator Doug Allen, Assistance City Administrator Bill Shroyer, and City Clerk Steve Compo. The only guest present was Jason Enneking. Commissioner Maridel Wittmer was not present.

The commissioners approved the minutes from the March 28 meeting, cereal malt beverage licenses for Family Dollar and All Star, and the following wage resolutions:

• Wage Resolution No. 2022-06: Kylie Meredith as Sabetha Police dispatcher;

• Wage Resolution No. 2022-07: Marty Yates in electrical production;

• Wage Resolution No. 2022-08: Summer help.

The city is still looking for people to fill in a few positions for summer help.

The next meeting will be held at 6 p.m. Monday, April 25, at Sabetha City Hall.
