Area students to graduate this weekend

Students in Prairie Hills USD No. 113 will say farewell to high school as they graduate on Saturday, May 14.

Sabetha High School has 49 seniors graduating, and Wetmore High School has 11 seniors.

The commencement exercises will be held as follows:

• 2 p.m. at Wetmore High School

• 7 p.m. at Sabetha High School

Sabetha’s Class of 2022 selected the white Sahara rose as the class flower, and navy blue and white as the class colors. The motto for the class is a quote by Jeff Moore, “Success doesn’t rush. The greatest reward is the journey.”

Wetmore’s Class of 2022 chose the white rose as their class flower, and dusty blue and gold as the class colors. The motto for the class is a quote by Theodor Seuss Geisel, “Sometimes you will never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory.”
