Bravos fall to Brigade

The Bravos hosted the Junction City Brigade on Friday, June 10, in hopes of adding a win to their record.

The game remained scoreless through the first two innings, but Junction City got on the board in the third inning with two runs scored. Junction City continued to add runs to their score while keeping Sabetha from crossing home plate. Sabetha finally scored two runs in the seventh inning, but the damage was done and Junction City would take the 10-2 win.

Collecting hits for the Bravos were Ryonosuke Nosaka, Jesus Espinoza and Lei Rivero. Rommel Perez tallied one RBI.

Carlos Lopez pitched the first six innings for the Bravos. He allowed four runs on six hits, while striking out seven batters and walking one. Osvaldo Beltre came in on relief for the final three innings. He allowed six runs on five hits, while striking out six batters and walking one.
