Teresa N. Tupper, 43, of Seneca was arrested on June 3 by the Seneca Police Department (PD) on a Richardson County, Neb., warrant for failure to report to correctional facility. Tupper remains in custody awaiting extradition.

Teresa Tupper was released to the custody of Richardson County, Neb., on June 3.

Bradley Bass-Hunter, 24, of Seneca was arrested on June 4 by the Seneca PD for the offenses of burglary, aggravated battery, interference with Law Enforcement Officer and domestic battery. He remains in custody.

Bradley Bass-Hunter was released on June 7 on a $50,000 surety bond. Court is set for July 19 at 9:30 a.m.

Jennifer Main, 30, of Seneca was arrested on June 7 by Seneca Police Department on charges of driving while suspended. She was released on June 7 on a $250 bond. Court is set for July 20 at 4 p.m.

Clarence E. Tryon, 46, of Baileyville was arrested on June 3 by the Nemaha County Sheriff’s Office (NMSO) for the offenses of driving under the influence and child passenger restraint violation. He was released on $1,250 bond on June 3 with a court date of July 19 at 9:30 a.m.

Kirby J. Walls, 58, was arrested on June 6 by NMSO on a Nemaha County warrant for failure to appear. He remains in custody with bond set at $2,500.

Crash Reports

At 10:33 p.m. Saturday, May 28, Colby J. Schmelzle, 17, of Seneca was traveling northbound on Kansas Highway 63 hauling a truck on a trailer. Approximately 1/2 mile north of 52nd Road, the truck fell off of the trailer sliding into the cemetery just north of Corning damaging the fence and numerous headstones. Schmelzle was driving a 2001 Dodge truck. Damage was estimated at more than $1,000.

At 4:05 p.m. Thursday, June 2, Idana Perkins, 82, of Barnes was turning into a private drive at 192nd Road and X Road when her tire went off the steep drop-off on the side of the driveway, causing it to roll. Perkins was driving a 2012 Chevrolet Equinox. Damage was estimated at more than $1,000.
