At 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 8, the Mary Cotton Library hosted its second week of Picnic in the Park. Attending the event were guests Kady Toole, a teen author, and her dog Izzy.

During the event, Toole read to the crowd a book she wrote about her dog titled “Izzy the Super Corgi.” This is the second book she has written. Her first book is titled “Izzy the Cowgirl Corgi.”

The next Picnic in the Park will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 15, at the Mary Cotton Public Library. This week’s guest was Kelly Girton sharing about scuba diving and his equipment.
