Blues take the win from the Bravos
After defeating the Blues the night before at home, Sabetha traveled to Baldwin City looking for another win on Tuesday, June 14. The Blues came into the game with a chip on their shoulder, and managed to hold the Bravos to just one run throughout the game. They would win, 13-1.
The Bravos scored their one run during the fourth inning, while the Blues scored one run in both the first and second innings, three runs in both the fourth and fifth innings, and then five runs in the seventh inning. For the Bravos, Sabesthian Guerra and Jose Fernandez each tallied two hits during the game, while Anthony Martinez, Rommel Perez, Lei Rivero and Jansel Jimenez each had one.
Carlos Trinidad pitched the first 3-2/3 innings. He allowed five runs on four hits, while striking out one batter and walking five batters. Kade Bredemeier came in on relief, throwing the final three innings. He allowed eight runs on eight hits, while striking out four batters and walking one.
