Nemaha Central Trap team competes at State

The Nemaha Central Trap Team competes at State on Sunday, June 19. The team includes students from Frankfort, Nemaha Central and Sabetha schools.


These three trap shooters compete at State on Sunday, June 19, in Sedgwick.

On Sunday, June 19, the Nemaha Central Trap team headed to Sedgwick, Kan., to compete in the State trap competition. Eleven kids from Frankfort, Nemaha Central and Sabetha schools make up the team. The kids shot two rounds of 50.

Chase Stallbaumer from Frankfort lead the team with 86 out 100. Chris Dalinghaus lead the Nemaha Central kids with 83 followed by Cayden Edelman with 79, Keaton Dalinghaus with 77, Leann Dalinghaus with 72 and Carson Edelman with 64.

Cole Grimes lead the Sabetha individuals with 81, followed by Griffen Huning with 80, Matthew Whittaker with 77, Kenton Farwell with 76 and Kendrick Edelman with 73.
