Obituary: Ronald VanDalsem
Ronald G. VanDalsem, 75, passed away on Sept. 27, 2022, due to complications from pneumonia.
He was born April 2, 1947, in Concordia to LeRoy and Laura Emily VanDalsem.
He graduated from Washburn University and was a lifelong fan of the K-State Wildcats. He retired in 1999 as an industrial plastics salesman for Cope and Regal Plastics. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Silver Lake.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Mary VanDalsem; daughters, J.J. Banks of Diamond, Mo., Amanda VanDalsem of Columbia, Mo., and Sarah (Tony) Towle of Topeka; a son, Shane (Jen) VanDalsem; and grandchildren, Brandon VanDalsem of Tennessee, Daniel and Amelia VanDalsem of Topeka, and Oliver Towle of Topeka.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Carlton VanDalsem.
Services were held Saturday, Oct. 15, in Morrill.
