JV Scholars Bowl Bluejays takes second

Nemaha Central High School hosted 15 area schools at the junior varsity scholars bowl on Tuesday, Nov. 8, in Seneca. In the final rounds, Nemaha Central No. 1 received the win, followed by Sabetha in second, Maur Hill-Mount Academy in third and Royal Valley took fourth place.

Pool Play

Pool A

Schools in the Pool A were Doniphan West, Maur Hill-Mount Academy (MH-MA), Axtell, Marysville, Horton, Royal Valley, Wetmore and Nemaha County No. 2.

Doniphan West went 3-4, defeating Horton, Wetmore and Nemaha Central No. 2.

MH-MA went 6-1, defeating Doniphan West, Axtell, Horton, Royal Valley, Wetmore and Nemaha Central No. 2.

Axtell went 1-6, defeating Doniphan West.

Marysville went 5-2, defeating Doniphan West, MH-MA, Axtell, Horton and Nemaha Central No. 2.

Horton went 3-4, defeating Axtell, Wetmore and Nemaha Central No. 2.

Royal Valley went 5-2, defeating Doniphan West, Axtell, Marysville, Horton and Wetmore.

Wetmore went 3-4, defeating Axtell, Marysville and Nemaha Central No. 2.

Nemaha Central No. 2 went 2-5, defeating Axtell and Royal Valley.

Pool B

Schools in the Pool B were Onaga, ACCHS, Nemaha Central No. 1, Sabetha, Centralia, Holton, Hiawatha and Frankfort.

Onaga went 3-4, defeating ACCHS, Centralia and Frankfort.

ACCHS went 0-7.

Nemaha Central No. 1 went 7-0, defeating Onaga, ACCHS, Sabetha, Centralia, Holton, Hiawatha and Frankfort.

Sabetha went 5-2, defeating Onaga, ACCHS, Centralia, Holton and Frankfort.

Centralia went 2-5, defeating ACCHS and Holton.

Holton went 5-2, defeating Onaga, ACCHS, Centralia, Hiawatha and Frankfort.

Hiawatha went 3-4, defeating Onaga, ACCHS and Sabetha.

Frankfort went 3-4, defeating ACCHS, Centralia and Hiawatha.
