At 1:47 p.m. Monday, Oct. 24, Zachary T. Hermesch, 33, of Goff was traveling northbound on Kansas Highway 63, approaching the intersection with U.S. Highway 36, when he struck a vehicle driven by Laura M. Huerter, 64, of Seneca, who was stopped at the stop sign waiting to turn left. Hermesch was driving a 2007 Chevrolet Trailblazer, and Huerter was driving a 2007 Dodge pickup. Damage was estimated at more than $1,000.
At 7:48 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 27, Kevin K. Slimp, 62, of Knoxville, Tenn., was traveling eastbound on U.S. Highway 36, 1/2 mile west of L Road, when he struck a deer. Slimp was driving a 2022 Chevrolet Malibu. Damage was estimated at more than $1,000.
At 5:15 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 8, Donald A. Gallagher, 64, of Axtell was traveling eastbound on Kansas Highway 9, just west of C Road, when he struck a deer. He was driving a 2008 Chevrolet Equinox. Damage was estimated at more than $1,000.
At 6:41 a.m. Friday, Nov. 11, Joseph W. Hale, 49, of Hoyt was traveling westbound on U.S. Highway 36, 1/2 mile east of Q Road, when he struck a deer. He was driving a 2019 Infinity QX6. Damage was estimated at more than $1,000.
