Drive collects 39 units

The Red Cross Blood Drive held in Bern on Wednesday, Nov. 16, collected 39 units with 43 donors coming in to donate.

There were seven donors reaching milestones: Keith Meyer, eight gallons; Eldon Kaster, one gallon; Mark Haverkamp, 14 gallons; Dan Stallbaumer, one gallon; Faron Strahm, five gallons; Mark Hanzlicek, four gallons; and Susan Anson, 14 gallons.

There were five double red donors including Brian Delaney, Duane Meyer, Mark Farwell, Joleen Edelman and Alan Haverkamp.

Others coming in to donate were Angela Morehead, Rita Grose, Daniel Feldkamp, Ronda Haverkamp, Leroy Strathman, Matthew Haverkamp, Joshua Meyer, Beverly Montgomery, John Lehman, Mary Sparling, John Jost, Cale Lang, Everlyn Hartter, Sara Meier, Douglas Droge, Kathleen Beashore, Denise Rokey, Gary Sparling, Todd Rokey, Theresa Feldkamp, Brian Edelman, Jay Baumgartner, Larry Meyer, Cindy Myers, Brent Lortscher, Kimberly Baumgartner, Carla Meyer, Kyle Meyer, Mollie Meyer, Ellen Hanzlicek and Katie Slagel.

Food for the Canteen was supplied by Ag Partners.

Volunteers for the day were Theresa Feldkamp, Helen Meyer, Evelyn Hartter, Ardena Kuenzi, Jan Fankhauser, Linda Marti, Kathleen Beashore, Susan Anson, Uvonna Bucher, Sara Meier, Wayne Dettman, Ed Beashore, Jack Kuenzi and Mel Ahlquist.

The next blood drive in Bern is scheduled for noon to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2023.
