The Wichita Eagle newspaper recently released the names of players they have recognized as their choices of All-State athletes in football in each classification for 2022. Several Bluejays were honored with the recognition of first team picks and honorable mention.

The Wichita Eagle named junior Josh Grimm to the First Team All Class 2A offensive lineman, senior Josh Herrmann was honored as a First Team All Class 2A linebacker pick and junior Christian McAfee was named to the First Team All Class 2A as a linebacker.

All Class 2A Honorable Mention honors included senior Jonathan Renyer for running back, junior Colin Menold as a running back, junior Jacob Grimm as a defensive lineman, junior Marcus Bauman at the defensive back position and junior Tyler Menold as a defensive lineman.
