At approximately 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 7, a Brown County deputy initiated a traffic stop in the vicinity of U.S. Highway 36 near Goldfinch Road in Brown County. Upon interdiction with the driver, it was discovered that the vehicle registration was expired and the driver, Andrew Armstrong, 38, of Robinson, was suspended. Armstrong was arrested on charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, illegal registration and driving while suspended.
