City approves multiple resolutions

The Sabetha City Commission met at 6 p.m. Monday, May 22, at Sabetha City Hall. Present for the meeting were Mayor Cody Bletscher, City Commissioners Norm Schmitt, Nick Aberle, Maridel Wittmer and Julie Burenheide, City Administrator Doug Allen, Assistant City Administrator Bill Shroyer, and City Clerk Steve Compo. The only guest present was Megan Bunck.

The commissioners approved Resolution No. 2023-08 for reclaiming cemetery lots at the Albany Cemetery. See the Resolution on Page 7A of this week’s Herald.

The commissioners approved Wage Resolution No. 2023-09 for summer help. Those on the resolution are Easton Bradbury, Will Ulrich and Mikenna Haverkamp.

The commissioners approved Wage Resolution No. 2023-10 for Brandon Primeaux for General Services.

The commissioners approved Wage Resolution No. 2023-11 for Dennis Enneking, who passed a Class III Water License.

The commissioners approved Resolution No. 2023-12 for the Hospital USDA Bid Procurement Procedure.

Also at the meeting:

The commissioners approved the minutes from the May 8 meeting.

The commissioners will meet again at 6 p.m. Monday, June 12, at Sabetha City Hall.
