Spring is in the air! At 6 p.m. Monday, April 24, the Morrill Tip-Top 4-H Club met at Sycamore Springs Whitetail Ranch for a pizza party. President Logan Ploeger called the meeting to order. The Flag Salute and the 4-H Pledge were led by Lydia Hartter. Roll call was answered by “If I could invent something, what would it be?”
The members then sang “Happy Birthday” to McKenzie Tedman. Secretary Kenzie Ploeger read last month’s minutes, and they stood approved as read. Treasurer Tedman gave the Treasurer’s Report, and it was moved, seconded and approved. Reporter Estie Grimm gave the Reporter’s Report, stating that she sent last month’s report to The Sabetha Herald.
Leader Jennifer Ploeger announced that July 23 is a county 4-H pool party at the Sabetha pool. She also announced that the Food Place setting presentations are held on Monday, July 10. Jennifer announced other changes of the schedule for fair week.
Brystol Jenson moved to adjourn the meeting. The club recited the 4-H motto “To Make the Best Better.” The members then enjoyed roller skating. Enjoy the freshness spring brings!
