At approximately 5:40 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 27, a Brown County deputy established probable cause to obtain a search warrant at a residence in Horton. The warrant was granted and then executed at 240 W. 15th Street at approximately 8 p.m. by the Brown County Sheriff’s Office Drug Task Force. A juvenile in the home was placed in police protective custody. At the conclusion of the search warrant, Jade Spruill, 32, of Horton was arrested on charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of stimulant, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and child endangerment. The Horton Police Department assisted.
