Sherri Carr, 36, of Morrill was released on Sept. 25 on a $258 cash bond for one charge and a $10,000 surety bond on the other. Court is set for Oct. 31 at 9:30 a.m. on both cases.

At 3:11 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 20, Logan Frost, 26, of Sabetha was stopped in a construction zone on US Highway 36, 1/2 mile east of Q Road, when a vehicle driven by Steven Klepper, 58, of Bern backed into her. Frost was driving a 2021 Buick Encore. Klepper was driving a 2013 GMC pickup.

At 7:49 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 20, Riley C. Lierz, 20, of Sabetha was traveling northbound on W Road, 1/2 mile south of 176th Road, when he struck a deer. He was driving a 2014 Ford Taurus. Damage was estimated at more than $1,000.
