The 2023 Kansas Association of Conservation Districts (KACD) Photo Contest was a picturesque success this year. The contest had enthusiastic participation all over the state, with this year’s theme for entries being “Conservation Practices.”

Nemaha county’s own Latham Kramer took home the gold this year by placing first in the 2023 Nemaha County Conservation District photo contest, and then going on to place first at the KACD state photo competition in Wichita. Kramer will enjoy a prize of $100, an award plaque and a T-Shirt to congratulate him on his success.

We will be celebrating Latham and all our other participants of various conservation contests at the Nemaha County Conservation District Annual meeting on Feb. 8, 2024,at the Knights of Columbus building in Seneca.
