The monthly meeting for the Woodlawn Meadowlarks 4-H Club was held on Saturday, Dec. 9, at the Woodlawn Church. President Laura Metzger called the meeting to order, and Cecilia Becker lead us in the flag salute and pledge. Lanae Metzger lead us in “Dashing Through the Snow.” Roll call was “Would you rather go sledding or build a snowman?”

Luke Metzger did a parliamentary report about different ways to vote. Members Metzger did a project talk on different breeds of chickens and Abram Beyer did a project talk on how to make a woodworking project for the fair.

For recreation, the club had fun with one of the pinatas they had made. Everyone brought their favorite Christmas goodies to share. Members enjoyed Christmas caroling throughout the month at numerous places and delivered the piñatas that were made for local groups.
