Seventy-one were collected by 69 donors during Sabetha’s Blood Drive on Tuesday, Aug. 11, at City Hall.

Volunteering at the drive were Diane Hicks, Alice Zahner, Jodi Nohl and Vincentia Lopez.

Multiple milestones were met during the drive. Those included David Hartter, nine gallons; Merlin Gruber, six gallons; Darryl Becker, five gallons; Amy Mitchell, four gallons; Thomas Strahm, three gallons; and Charles Gruber, one gallon.

During the drive, there were two first-time donors, two plasma donors and seven double red donors.

The first-time donors were Isabella M. Sudbeck and Arturo D. Papa Silva, and the plasma donors were Todd A. Rokey and Rodney L. Strahm.

Double red donors included Frederick B. Aberle, Darryl G. Becker, Steven L. Edelman, Kent P. Saylor, Lorinda S. Strahm, Thomas J. Strahm and Dan J. Wenger.

The next blood drive is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 13, at Sabetha City Hall.
