The Nemaha County STEP Foundation has received $500 for its Nemaha County Catastrophic Medical Fund through the Mowing Down Cancer Summer Giveaway, sponsored and promoted by MSC Radio. The STEP Foundation was one of five recipients of this year’s giveaway.

The money will support Nemaha County residents facing catastrophic medical illnesses such as cancer, heart attack and stroke.

“It’s that time of year to give thanks, and we are so grateful,” said Tory Jost, Executive Director of the Nemaha County STEP Foundation. “Many of the donations were just a dollar or two, so it took a lot of generous people to raise this $500. We appreciate MSC Radio and to everyone who gave, within the county and beyond.”
