The Kansas Department of Transportation has announced approved bids for state highway construction and maintenance projects. The letting took place on Nov. 19 in Topeka. Some of the bids may include multiple projects that have been bundled based on proximity and type of work.

District One — Northeast

Jefferson: 92‑44 KA‑7719‑01 – Kansas Highway 92, from Meredith Lane east to the Jefferson/Leavenworth county line, milling and overlay, 5.7 miles, J M Fahey Construction Company, Grandview, Mo., $1,221,940.50.

Leavenworth: 73‑52 KA‑7729‑01 – U.S. Highway 73, from the Wyandotte/Leavenworth county line north to 0.052 mile south of Ida Street, milling and overlay, 3.4 miles, Superior Bowen Asphalt Company LLC, Kansas City, Mo., $2,231,642.45.

Marshall: 36‑58 KA‑7815‑01 – U.S. Highway 36, from north 20th Street in Marysville east to the U.S. Highway 36/Kansas Highway 87 junction, milling and overlay, 16 miles, Hall Brothers Inc., Marysville, Kan., $5,545,176.89.

Marshall: 9‑58 KA‑5761‑01 – Kansas Highway 9, bridge No. 025 over the Robidoux Creek located 10.6 miles east of the Kansas 9/U.S. Highway 77 east junction, bridge replacement, United Contractors Inc., Johnston, Iowa, $5,567,560.62.

Wyandotte: 32‑105 KA‑7727‑01 – Kansas Highway 32, from the Kansas Highway 32/Kansas Highway 7 junction east to 0.118 mile east of South 65th Street, milling and overlay, 8.7 miles, Superior Bowen Asphalt Company LLC, Kansas City, Mo., $4,918,915.55.

Wyandotte: 73‑105 KA‑7728‑01 – U.S. Highway 73, from 0.31 mile north of Parallel Parkway north to the Wyandotte/Leavenworth county line, milling and overlay, 4.7 miles, Superior Bowen Asphalt Company LLC, Kansas City, Mo., $3,500,441.95.
