As we head into our holiday season, The Herald wants to inform the public of our holiday deadlines as well as changes in paper delivery days. As always, if you send a news or advertising submission via email, the Herald staff will respond to your email. If you do not receive a response in a timely manner, please call the office at 785-284-3300 to make sure we received it.

Christmas

Since the Christmas holiday falls on Thursday, Dec. 25, the deadline for news and advertising submissions will be at 5 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 18. For Sabetha subscribers, The Sabetha Herald should be delivered by the U.S. Postal Service on Wednesday, Dec. 24.

New Year’s

Since New Year’s Day falls on Thursday, Jan. 1, 2026, the deadline for news and advertising submissions will be at 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 26. For Sabetha subscribers, The Sabetha Herald should be delivered by the U.S. Postal Service on Wednesday, Dec. 31.
