The Brown County Conservation District will hold their traditional annual meeting with a meal, co-sponsored by GN Bank. The meeting will be at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 25, at the Alley, located at 1000 S First Street in Hiawatha. We will conduct the business of the 2025 Annual Meeting at that time and elect two supervisors. We will also present the 2025 Banker’s Awards.

The Board of Supervisors will make a full and due report on their activities and financial affairs since the last annual meeting. We will elect two supervisors to serve for a term of three years. The terms of current supervisors Jeff Compton and Tanner Campbell are expiring. If you would like to vote, you must be a resident of Brown County and attend the meeting.
