Ashley D. Pack, 31, of Sabetha was arrested on March 1 by the Sabetha Police Department for the offense of possession of paraphernalia. She remains in custody.

At 7:12 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 25, Christopher L. Hynek, 44, of Seneca was traveling eastbound on 96th Road, 1/2 mile east of Kansas Highway 63, when he struck a deer. He was driving a 2005 Ford pickup. More than $1,000 in damage was estimated.

At 2:35 p.m. Sunday, March 1, Kayden McAuliffe, 19, of Sabetha was backing out of a private drive on Boeckman Drive in Seneca and struck a parked 2021 Ford Explorer owned by Darrell Heinen of Axtell. McAuliffe was driving a 2003 Ford Mustang. Less than $1,000 in damage was estimated.
