Kansas farmers planted 7.30 million acres of winter wheat for the 2025 crop year, down 4 percent from the previous year. Acres harvested totaled 6.80 million, down 5 percent. Total production for the 2025 crop year was 346.8 million bushels, up 13 percent. Yield per harvested acre was 51 bushels, up 8 bushels from 2024.
