Letter: Thank you, Sabetha Community and exciting news for The Kids Kloset
Dear Editor,
The Kids Kloset Board would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Sabetha community for your tremendous support during this year’s Give to Grow match event. Once again, our community showed incredible generosity, kindness, and belief in the work we do for local children and families.
Because of you, we received $34,728.90 in 71 gifts, and every single dollar will directly support our mission of providing clothing, shoes, and essential items to students in USD 113. Your contributions help us continue meeting needs with dignity, compassion, and reliability. We are humbled and inspired by the trust you place in The Kids Kloset. Whether you gave online, visited in person, shared our posts, or encouraged others to participate, your support made a meaningful impact.
Today, we are excited to share the next step in our journey: The Kids Kloset has officially purchased the building at 118 Washington. This milestone was made possible because of the continued generosity of donors like you.
As we prepare the new space, several important updates are needed to ensure it is safe, functional and welcoming for the families we serve. These improvements include:
• Updated electrical
• Updated plumbing
• Heating system improvements
• Installation of a drop ceiling to increase heating and cooling efficiency
• New flooring to ensure safety
These upgrades will allow us to create a comfortable and accessible environment where families can receive the support they need with dignity.
If anyone in the community feels called to help us with the renovation process — whether through financial contributions, materials or volunteer support — we would be deeply grateful. Every level of involvement brings us closer to opening the doors of our new home.

With gratitude,
