At 10:45 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2025, Kanyon R. Olberding, 20, of Circleville was traveling westbound on U.S. Highway 36, 1/4 mile east of P Road, when she struck a deer. She was driving a 2019 Hyundai. More than $1,000 in damage was estimated.

At 6:26 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 3, Kevin Wiltz, 59, of Sabetha was traveling northbound on Y Road, 0.3 mile north of U.S. Highway 36, when he struck a deer. Wiltz was driving a 2012 Dodge R25. More than $1,000 in damage was estimated.

At 2:23 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 6, Fedir Hulych, 51, of Lincoln, Neb., was traveling southbound on Kansas Highway 63 when he left the right side of the roadway near the Kansas Highway 71 Junction, striking a road sign. He was driving a 2023 Mack semi and trailer. Less than $1,000 in damage was estimated.
