Fifty-six units were collected by 55 donors during Sabetha’s Blood Drive on Tuesday, Oct. 13, at City Hall.

Volunteering at the drive were Diane Hicks, Alice Zahner, Kay Frey and Whitney Hartter.

A few milestones were met during the drive. Those included Larry Bauerle, 19 gallons; Gary Barrett, nine gallons; and Randi Schmid, three gallons.

During the drive, there was one first-time donor, one plasma donor and five double red donors.

The first-time donor was Winnie Huang, and the plasma donor was Rodney L. Strahm.

Double red donors included Rodney L. Allen, Corbin R. Anliker, Justin C. Coelho, Jennifer K. Enneking and Howard J. Hinton..

The next blood drive is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 15, at Sabetha City Hall.
